About Me

I am so happy you are visiting our blog! We are all about fun ways to learn and grow. I am a Mom of three incredibly sweet little girls (Monkey 1 - 7 years, and Monkey 2 - 5 months and Monkey 3- 1 year old). I have been blessed with an incredible husband and family, and pray everyday that God will show us how to raise Godly Girls! Christmas Tree Waffle Cones!

For Unto Us a Child is Born!

Merry Christmas! (a few days late but... who's counting?)

M2 Had a Blast Playing with the Christmas Lights!

M2 - 3.5yrs She looks so grown up!
My Proud Big Girl after decorating the Christmas Tree!

Our Favorite Christmas Craft this Year:
Waffle Cone Christmas Trees

Supplies
Waffle Cones
Frosting
Food Coloring
Coconut
M&Ms
Small Christmas Decorating Candies
Mini Marshmallows
Red Icing

1. Setup - we used a big cookie sheet to contain the mess
but also make it all visible to the kids to pick from

 2. The Process - Color the icing and frost the trees then DECORATE!

So what all candies did we use:
M&M
Coconut
Mini Marshmallows (the really little ones)
Christmas Sprinkles
Cinnamon Candies

Even M2 got in on the action!

Once all the cones were done we used the red icing with a round tip to create a garland (this is obviously not necessary but I think it helped to make them all look a little more uniform together...)

She gave me a crazy look... But she is really proud of these! We put them on a tray and used coconut as snow! They have lasted the entire Christmas Season as our Center Piece on our Table!! Thanksgiving to New Years and I am sad to think it is almost time to throw them out! Maybe I can put them outside for the Birds...!
