Here are some of our FAVORITE Christmas Gifts from this year!

Hands Down Number One Favorite Gift:
This marble run entertains the 3 year old with a drive to be creative making her think and plan ahead to create a path for the marble,
and the 16 month old loves the cause and effect: put the marble here it comes out here...!

This Science kit was an instant hit and M1 and Daddy got right down to business

Christmas Tree Waffle Cones!

For Unto Us a Child is Born!

Merry Christmas! (a few days late but... who's counting?)

M2 Had a Blast Playing with the Christmas Lights!

M2 - 3.5yrs She looks so grown up!
My Proud Big Girl after decorating the Christmas Tree!

Our Favorite Christmas Craft this Year:
Waffle Cone Christmas Trees

Supplies
Waffle Cones
Frosting
Food Coloring
Coconut
M&Ms
Small Christmas Decorating Candies
Mini Marshmallows
Red Icing

1. Setup - we used a big cookie sheet to contain the mess
but also make it all visible to the kids to pick from

 2. The Process - Color the icing and frost the trees then DECORATE!

So what all candies did we use:
M&M
Coconut
Mini Marshmallows (the really little ones)
Christmas Sprinkles
Cinnamon Candies

Even M2 got in on the action!

Once all the cones were done we used the red icing with a round tip to create a garland (this is obviously not necessary but I think it helped to make them all look a little more uniform together...)

She gave me a crazy look... But she is really proud of these! We put them on a tray and used coconut as snow! They have lasted the entire Christmas Season as our Center Piece on our Table!! Thanksgiving to New Years and I am sad to think it is almost time to throw them out! Maybe I can put them outside for the Birds...!

Glue Snowmen Window Clings

In Honor of the Coming Snowstorm a few weeks ago we made some snowmen to hang on the window!
Supplies:
Elmers Glue
Wax Paper/Non Stick Paper
Markers
Yarn/String

It is so simple!
Draw an outline with glue in the shape of a snowman, and then I let M1 fill them in with glue!

Ours sat overnight and by morning they were dry!
We added some snowman decorations,
Poked a hole in the top,
Tied a String!

Good Luck with your Own Snowy Creations!
